Emerald Ash Borer Workshop – Saturday July 28

July 20th, 2012

As part of its Emerald Ash Borer Targeted Backyard Tree Planting and Community Outreach Program, LEAF (“Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests” – an agency that receives support from the City of Toronto) is training residents across the city to become EAB Ambassadors and help spread important information and advice about this destructive invasive insect pest.
LEAF’s second EAB Ambassador training session is fast approaching. At it experts will train volunteers to become EAB Ambassadors. The volunteers will get all of the information and tools they need to educate their neighbours and the broader community about EAB and the options for treatment, removals and planting.
The training is free and will be held at the Scarborough Civic Centre on Saturday, July 28.

I encourage interested residents to register online at:
